About the Stationery Department

A service department supplying stationery materials to all Government offices

Stationery Department of the Government of Kerala is a service department entrusted with the task of supplying stationery materials to various Government offices across the State. The department functions at the PMG junction, Thiruvananthapuram under the supervision of the Controller of Stationery.

The responsibilities of the department, besides being handled by the Controller, are managed by two Deputy Controllers designated with administrative and stores purchase duties respectively.

Latest: The Consumer module of TERMS (Total Enterprise Resource Management System) has been launched. Government offices can now register online, file their forecasts and consumption returns, and manage stationery requirements digitally through this portal.

To ensure timely and reliable supply of quality stationery materials to all Government offices in Kerala while maintaining transparency, accountability and economy in procurement and distribution.

What We Do

Stationery Supply

Procure and distribute stationery items to Government offices throughout the State.

Government Presses Liaison

Coordinate stationery requirements for Government Presses and Secretariat offices.

Waste Paper Disposal

Manage the disposal of waste paper from Government offices through approved contracts.

Digital Transformation

Operate TERMS, the end-to-end digital system for forecasting, indenting and issue.

The Stationery Department has been one of the pioneers in the implementation of free and open-source software in the State Government. With the rollout of TERMS, the department has further strengthened its commitment to e-governance, transparency and ease of doing business with consumer offices.
